Bible Baptist Church was founded in 1980 by Pastor Lake, his wife, Cathy, and their 3 week old daughter, Rebekah. They were called by God from Ohio to Central Vermont, where there were few Bible believing churches. They began to visit, and before long, they had their first church service. Missions and Children’s ministries have always been the heart of Pastor Lake, and over the last 34 years, the church has been blessed by a growing Children’s and Youth ministry, and supporting over 20 missionaries all over the world. We enjoy doing many community outreaches throughout the year, including being a part of the Barre Heritage Festival, and passing out candy, along with a gospel tract, in downtown Barre’s trick-or-treat.
